Rambha College of Education, Jamshedpur, was established in the year 2018 and is a growing key player in future education. Developed in Ghatshila, Jamshedpur, this is a private co-educational college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), an affiliated college. Located in a 2-acre area, this college at present is providing two full-time courses in the faculty of education with a strength of a total of 115 students. Rambha College of Education currently has the strength of 16 faculty members and offers a good student-teacher ratio of 1:10 so as to impart the right education to budding teachers.

Rambha College of Education has installed facilities that are intended to help improve learning as well as the personal development of learners. Facilities, which play an important function in the process of student training, need to be highlighted; one of them is a library. In as much as the college is quite traditional, it boasts of very good IT facilities which will prepare students for technology in education. A part of skills development, the institution has departmental laboratories where research and development are incorporated into the programme. Today, Rambha College of Education provides two programmes in Teacher Education. These include the two-year full-time programmes, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), as per NCTE norms. Both films offer an approved intake of one hundred seats for a total of two hundred seats in the two courses. Such programmes are intended to prepare students for success in the teaching and educational management professions.

The admission policies have always favoured merit and stand as a testimony to this policy since Rambha College of Education. For the B.Ed programme, candidates are selected depending upon marks scored in the qualifying examination and an entrance examination if conducted. The specific selection process might also be dependant on the policies formulated and promulgated by State Government/ Union Territory Administration, or affiliated University.
