RMDCOP was established in 1927 at Pune, and it has immense history in the education of pharmacy at various levels. This affiliated college is in Chinchwad, Pune with PCI approval and AICTE accreditation. The institute is small and mainly focused on the provision of specialized education for students in pharmacy and is located in a campus that occupies 0.3673 of an acre of land. This college calls for students 68 in total student intake and faculty 7this has enabled the facility to present the focused learning atmosphere. With regard to laboratory facilities, there are four laboratories which are distributed in nine subjects; each of the laboratories is 130 square meters and includes preparation and balance rooms. These labs are developed to cater the norms mentioned by the Pharmacy Council of India so that student can get the practical knowledge as required in the market.

Rasiklal M. Dhariwal College of Pharmacy currently offers one primary course: This corresponding professional degree is called the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This is a two-year full time programme and has been approved to admit 60 students per year. This course proposes to give students a good start and set the basis for practice and professional development in this scientific field in the different sectors of the pharmaceutical industry. The existence and establishment of this single programme in the college can be very effective since, it centralises on this particular area, thereby affording students in pharmacy the necessary skills, exclusive to that area of study.
