RBS Mahavidyalaya Allahabad was established in the year 2008 and has approval from NCTE. The college is being designed as a platform for students to explore their creative potential. RBS Mahavidyalaya offers diploma and UG courses in the fields of arts, humanities and social sciences. 

RBS Mahavidyalaya is affiliated with Prof Rajendra Singh University Prayagraj. Admissions are offered to interested candidates who meet the RBS Mahavidyalaya eligibility criteria. Some of the courses offered in RBS Mahavidyalaya include D.El.Ed, B.Com, B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, and LLB courses. Whereas B.Ed, D.El.Ed courses are approved by the NCTE Jaipur.

To be eligible for admission, candidates need to clear 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for the reserved category)  from a recognised board. To gain admission into the B.Ed course in RBS Mahavidyalaya, candidates are required to take the UP B.Ed entrance exam, whereas admissions to other courses are merit-based. 

RBS Mahavidyalaya campus is equipped with a variety of facilities for students. RBS Mahavidyalaya facilities offered to students include a library stocked with books, journals, and encyclopaedias, a modern computer lab with internet access, sports facilities, an auditorium, and laboratories.
