No placement after Bsc Even after msc or phd ony there is some opportunity in national level exams Jammu and Kashmir has not released a single post from 20 years even entry level posts are blocked due to sro 339 and some other reasons

They say they provide 100% placements. I don't believe it nor expect it.I am not sure about the placement cells . Highest salary offered is 4.75 lpa according to the placement head .Average is 3.5 lpa

College infrastructure is fantastic according to me, we’re situated in a huge campus that has colleges for bachelor courses in different buildings. We’ve great bathrooms, classrooms, wifi and ac that is really great.

Academically the college is pretty strong. We’ve great lectures and teachers are well versed in their subjects, attendais compulsory with 75 percent mandatory so you’ll see mist students attending lectures.

I have heard about placements that take place for our course and seniors gave said tgat the average is around 6-7 lakh oer annum. We’ve got a proper placement committee that is doingreat work for now.

As a final Year civil enquiring student, I can confidently say that the college infrastructure has played a significant role in shaping my academic journey. The campus is well planned, spacious, and equipped with modern facilities that support both learning and overall development. The civil engineering department, in particular, has excellent laboratories with updated equipment, allowing us to gain strong practice exposure.

The academics experience in my civil engineering program has been one of the most enriching aspects of my life time at the college. The curriculum is well structured, industry oriented and regular update to include the latest development in the field. Each subject is designed to build a strong foundation while also providing practice exposure through lab work, field visit, project based learning.

College Infrastructure
Campus looks good on the outside, but it is not functional. Most of the engineering is done on stylistic choice and not on functionality. It is clean and hostels are spacious, but that's the only good things. The toilet, gym, mess, sport facilities, activity center, library and food outlets are all very bad. The campus flood every rainy season and there's water everywhere in the hostels. Also, boy's hostels are outside the campus making it a nuisance, the cars are driving very fast and we have no protection against them except some useless barricades. We are also on the outskirt of a boring city making everything worse.
Academics
Professors and faculties are useless, it is better to study by yourself. Curriculum itself is okay, but the teaching staffs have very low caliber. The worst thing is that they have absolutely no consideration or understanding to empathize with the students. It feels like one of the requirement to working here is to absolutely hate the student. They are as if actively competing against each other on who can be the biggest douchebag.
Placements
The only good thing about this college. But placement is not good because of the college, it is good despite the college. The students here work very hard for our placement. The college itself is actively trying to pull us down. Even during placement session, we have the same number of subjects, we still have lots of quizzes, presentation, projects, classes and other academic activities and there are no attendance consideration from the institute at all.

There is no campus life. Everyone is too busy and/or tired with academic activities to do anything else. The best thing is to just enjoy and spend time with your friends and pick up a hobby or two whenever you can. The fests are like a high school level fest, the clubs are not doing anything grand and the campus if just dead and dull.
