Being a backbencher, I can confirm the Wi-Fi reaches the last row perfectly—essential for keeping up with my projects (and maybe a little multitasking). The AC and smart boards make the long labs comfortable, especially since I've already landed my placement and can enjoy the vibe more. Plus, the campus is surprisingly clean and well-kept, which makes our favorite hangout spots actually feel decent
Academics
The academic cell here is actually quite solid being a backbencher, I appreciate that the teaching is straightforward and easy to grasp without being overwhelming. The lecturers are really friendly and knowledgeable, often using simple methods and shortcuts that make complex CS concepts stick. Since I'm already placed, I can see how the curriculum's focus on things like Python and AI actually prepared us for real-world tasks. It's a supportive environment where they’ll explain things twice if you need it, which is all you can really ask for.
Placements
I've already secured my placement, and around 80%–90% of our batch usually gets placed. Big names like Wipro, Deloitte, and TCS visit our campus, with packages generally ranging from an average of ₹3 LPA to a high of around ₹7 LPA. It’s a huge relief to have that sorted before graduation, and the college really pushes the training to make sure we’re ready for the interviews

Campus life is pretty lively—as a backbencher, I love that there's always a fest or event happening, which keeps things from getting too boring between labs. My best moment was definitely the day our group finally cracked a complex project in the central courtyard and then celebrated at the college fest; it felt like all the hard work paid off. The worst moment has to be the stress during the final semester exams, but the teachers are supportive, so it wasn't too bad. Regarding safety, the college handles emergencies well with basic medical facilities on-site and a management team that’s quick to respond if a student needs help

Looking back now that I'm placed, I’d say Tapasya is perfect if you want a balance of fun and a career without the extreme 'nerdy' pressure. Regarding academics the syllabus was covered Fully. And teachers made sure to solve the doubts students had. Teaching was easy to understand with the practical training and practice we were made to understand the importance of completing syllabus with revision and system was education oriented not exam oriented we were taught to apply what we had studied in real life as well for better understanding

Studying here helped in ways such as self confidence well grooming, professional behaviour, and also taking accountability of our own things overall it was good. College gave good opportunities in placements with the good salaries. Placements were done without biasness and gave good experience

Yes, this college is definitely worth it. Teachers are helpful, labs are well-equipped, and I’ve learned a lot in my three years. classrooms and labs are good and well-maintained. Hostel blocks, study areas, and sports facilities make daily life easy. Even bathrooms and washing areas are now better organized after separating hostel and classroom blocks.

The only drawback is unhygienic washrooms rest the infrastructure is beautiful. The entire college area is always clean and the classes have all basic necessities like smartboards, 4fans,4lights in each class and also ACs but they doesnt work.

Im currently pursuing BBA honours and no doubt the college teaching faculties are best. Every year the syllabus is updated and teachers guide well and also help us in planning our future but only study does not make job ready we should also have some skills.

We have a great auditorium of our college and the also it has a sports complex, well updated library, science labs, seminar halls and two canteens. So the college campus is pretty good. Yes, our college has good basic infrastructure that supports learning and day-to-day life. The classrooms are clean and spacious, and science labs have most of the equipment we need for practicals. Iam studying B.Sc Microbiology because I am interested in life sciences and research-based subjects. The curriculum is mostly updated and covers both theory and practical knowledge. Lab work helps us gain basic skills needed for higher studies and related jobs. With some extra training and internships, students can become more job-ready.
Placements
So far, the placement support is just starting and not many companies visit campus directly. The college helps with basic guidance and shares job alerts, but most of us look for internships or placements outside on our own. I feel they can strengthen industry connections to help more students get jobs.

Campus life here feels balanced and peaceful, like a home away from home. We have a good mix of study hours and extracurricular activities which keeps life interesting. I’d rate it 4 out of 5 because the hostel vibes and study culture make each day productive and enjoyable.

Classrooms have proper arrangement of all facilities most rooms got enough light and fresh air but some classrooms feels a bit old but they are functional and labs are also okay for regular practical work and canteen serves simple food with reasonable price and also washroom maintenance can be improved.

The focus of faculties is mainly on completing the syllabus on time and preparing students for university exam. Lectures are conducted regularly, and most teachers follows a fixed teaching pattern and most of the teachers rely more on notes and books instead of explaining clearly about the topic.

The teaching quality is average to good. Most lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable, helping us understand the commerce fundamentals we needed for our degree. While the curriculum felt a bit traditional at times and could have used more modern industry case studies, the faculty’s willingness to help with doubts made the academic experience steady and reliable.

This is where Tapasya truly shines. I was part of the 2019 batch and managed to get placed in a great company, which is the ultimate goal. The placement cell is very active; big firms visit, and the average packages are quite fair for freshers. For me, the return on investment was excellent because I walked out with a degree in one hand and a job offer in the other.

Campus life is simple there is a good sense of community, and my best memories are the small celebrations with friends in the common areas. The worst moments were just the typical exam-season stress. In terms of emergencies, the college is responsible and has basic medical protocols in place to ensure student safety, which gave my parents peace of mind.

If I could tell the management one thing, it would be to add more practical, modern workshops to the B.Com curriculum to match the fast-moving corporate world. However, I’m grateful for the platform Tapasya provided; it was the bridge I needed to start my professional life.

The academics are okay-ish .The entire curriculum is updated according to the latest trends in the market and the industry, the teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher some teach excellently while other teach in a bad manner or being strict. The university makes us job ready by allowing us to make different types of projects and providing us internships for the betterment of our future.

placement is a very controversial topic in the college as it varies from GPA and skills, it varies from person to person depending on the amount of skills they possess and the amount of efforts they had put into their academics. Some companies also offer pre placement offer which is given during the time of internships according to the performance of the student or the researcher. The highest package recently was 70 LPA while the average package from what ive heard was 7-8 LPA

The campus life inside the college is descent and although there are a lot of restrictions regarding the visiting outside of campus or visiting outside the hostels the overall festivals held every year are decent on up to the mark they leave a deep incident inside the hearts of students and spark great zeal and enthusiasm inside the students, so overall the campus life is as good as you can expect from a college like VIT. The staff behaviour varies from person to person, from what ive noticed most of the south indian teachers are kinda racist and treat other students like dogs, the location is safe but the college is too far from the city so it is not possible to handle multiple emergencies at once or at the same time

I went to college i attended the class and then the topics whic I couldn't understand I used to go to the professors and requested them to explain it again.They were very good so if I request them to explain the topic again so they used to explain it again. This college didn't have placements at my time.Now I don't have idea about whether they opt for placements or not.At our time the professor helped us in scoring good marks in the exam.Sometimes our professors inspired us well in applying for government job exams.

In college I used to go to college and attended the class of my course and I used to go out after the class and then I went to tuition. I didn't wasted my time by talking to friends after the class as other students do.In college I participated in table tennis tournament two times.I won table tennis two times in inter college table tennis tournament.
