Infrastructure is good, sprawling campus, natural ambience, contemporary classrooms, and sport centres. Gym facilities, Wifi, etc are available from what we have heard from our seniors. Living spaces are clean and food seems to be hygienic.
Academics
Online mode of teaching is prevalent owing to the on-going pandemic. Quality of teaching is good enough. Case-based learnings, holistic methodology, and frequent interactive sessions are incorporated here.
Placements
Placements are optimal (ours has not yet started) so not much clear understanding of what or how they go about. College seems to be supportive I beleive. Constant reminders via sis and emails are generated owing to these issues.
Campus Life
Good social life, club activities, and building up connections. You would understand the nitty gritties of campus life once you interact with your batchmates and your seniors. It's all about how you learn to cope up in an environment filled with different perspectives.

College have all the necessary equipment and facilities. Infrastructure of the college is very much good in condition. Though some equipment is missing but it's manageable. Classroom are good and big enough and there are 4 hostel with very good facilities. All are maintained but little more effort is been needed for maintaining at top quality.

There I took admission in diploma course in the computer science and engineering branch and I got that college by cracking the competitive exam. The teaching quality is good enough and all the faculty members are also polite.
Placements
Though the academic is good but a very low placement is there but Tata steel comes for the placement which is a key point. Not all the students get placement but study is good which is the main part that makes the college good.

College campus is big and all over the greenery is there which the look of the college very nice. The walls are also maintained as well as gate .Its all over good enough. All the teachers ,sir and other faculty members are good

When it comes to academics, faculty is amazing. They teach you through edu com on projector. Faculty makes sure you're thorough with the syllabus. They teach you off topic as well related to the course, on ground work is also given by teacher to understand properly.

The quality of placements are good. Faculty keep sending you the opportunity to take internship, they give you exposure by making work under them. Highest salary package was 15000 for singer and modelling. Average salary was 5000. Yes the college was supportive.

Worst feature of college campus is that, it's quite small. Best part about the college is it's small but yet covers evey thing, gymkhana, gym, canteen audi, restroom for girls. Yes the location is safe and can handle emergencies.

It has a not so big campus but still one can enjoy here none the less. The best features are the cafeteria and the ground. The worst being the campus is small and everything here is very packed up. The students, teachers and seniors are friendly and helpful. The location is at prime Salt Lake, it's an IT hub in kolkata. And it is absolutely safe and handles the emergencies very well

since it is a private college still multi-nation companies come there for placements, like tata consultancy, Wipro IBM systems, etc salary offered is also nice around 3-4 lakhs per annum, which is quite good

The classes are big but not developed as a private institution should have when they take this amount from students. There are a variety of labs with all basic functionalities. The institution prepare themselves to look good before UGC comes for inspection and then goes back to the old golden days of their. The food is okay but don’t expect sports. They have built a nice library to accommodate 100 students at least.
Academics
The professors are good but only when you reach out to them. Some try to motivate only their favourites but will be unwilling to do so for each and every child. I was studying btech in cse of which you will find the most crowd.
Placements
They bring good placements only in the main campus though you can find some coming specifically for Ramapuram. The average goes around 3 -3.6 lpa but you can try your luck for higher compensation too.

There is no campus life. There are some events that comes up for the department but the fun part only would come if the students get good investments. The dean and others do not encourage any campus life events.

This college is really convenient and has all facilities which are required for students. The campus is really good and maintained very well. The classrooms are spacious with clean and tidy spaces. The mechanical workshop is very well maintained and all the equipment is available.

Academics are also very good here in this college. This college has good learning environment where the faculty is really skills and they have good expertise in teaching. I studied diploma in mechanical engineering and i have learned good enough to pursue my bachelor's degree. This college has a well updated curriculum.

The placement cell doesn't provide any placements for average students. To be honest the strength of this college is mostly average students. I think placements part is a little downfall of this college. Remaining it has a good reputation.

The campus life is great and we have enjoyed alot in this campus. The sports meets and cultural festivals are real fun in this campus. Except a little about its location remaining all things are very good in this college.

The infrastructure of K. J. Somaiya college is very good. The guards are present everywhere. No outsider is allowed inside the campus without proper verification like I'D card is mandatory if you want to enter in our College campus. the classrooms are equipped with smart board nd full inter aaccess. I'm currently doing B. Com from this college and because I already know well about this college, the teachers here are very good and teachers have blend of knowledge and are able to deliver high level knowledge to us. They have friendly nature.

I did my B. Com from this college the placement of this college are pretty average only few students from my batch got placed and other moved to higher studies few of them are pursuing MBA and few are pursuing M.Com.

Facilities provided by our college management were very good. Our campus was fully Wi-Fi enabled. The library consisted of books related to all the fields. The quality of food served in the canteen was very good and hygienic.

Our curriculum is totally updated and knowledgeable. The college is good for academics. The teachers here are skilled and well learned. In this college the quality of teaching is very excellent for us .

Students who have passed out from this college got placed with high salary packages. The starting salary package was 3 LPA to 7.5 LPA. Internships were not provided in our college. Students got placed in the IT sector, banking sector, etc.

we have some good faculties but most of them are not helpful although all of them are atleast Mtech from renowned colleges. Labs- every lab is air conditioned , power system and machines labs have enough equipments but control system , microprocessor , and power electronics labs don't have adequate arrangement. Classrooms- Rooms are big enough but not air conditioned. Library - All required books for courses are available there. But you have to renew your library cards every month.

we have 150 students per year, so 600 total students in EE . there are 30 electrical engineering teaches and 20 others from BES or CSE or ME or CE department also take classes. • qualification of teachers- all of them are MTechs from IITs or other renowned Universities. Some of them are PhDs . 10-12 of them are really helpful and you won't wanna miss their classes but rest of them are not good enough. Most of the classes are boring but if you try hard enough every class will help you .
Placements
From 7th semester students are allowed to participate in hiring process. • companies - TCS, BYJUS , COGNIZANT, MINDTREE, DXC , ITC , WIPRO , are significant recruiter who hired some students. TCS hired most , 14 students and most of the other companies hired one or two students. • only 30 % of us are placed , luckily I am one of them. • only one student has been placed by core companies. Only one came to our college. Rest of them are software Engineer or sales executive jobs. •

FEST - avenir is the name of the cultural fest It is held annually , at December. College students participate in fests.bands or singers or famous entertainer are generally not brought by feat authority. There is also a tech fest but techno group arranges that. • Library- you can get any required book for your course. Enough books for all students. But you have to renew your library card monthly or you will be charged late fine of 1 rupee/ book/ day , which is huge .

Almost everything is available her in the campus and a large area is yet to be built later for many other facilities. Buildings and Hostels and other facility centres are well maintained as well. Hostel facilities need more improvement.

I'm studying ECE here and the quality of teaching isn't good.I don't feel quality is good in anywhere else in india as well. Curriculum is quite good but feels outdated sometimes. Sometimes i feel why i study these.
Placements
Apparently the placements are good here not great though. I've heard of average placement is around 8-10lpa for ECE students with highest package of around 20+ lpa to lowest of around 3lpa. Majority packages lies in 5-8lpa.
