Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology has a large and green campus inside Aligarh. The college provides spacious classrooms, modern labs, libraries, and hostels. Sports and activity areas are also there, but some parts of the infrastructure need more upgrades.
ZHCET offers B.Tech, M.Tech, programs in many engineering branches. Teachers are well qualified and guide students in theory and projects. The academic environment is supportive, though the syllabus sometimes lags behind latest industry changes.
Placements are fair with IT companies, PSUs, and some core industries visiting. Many students get jobs in Infosys, TCS, and Wipro, while some prepare for higher studies or government exams. However, placement in core fields is limited compared to IT.
Campus aka student life at ZHCET is energetic with cultural fests, debates, and sports activities. The diversity on campus makes the environment lively and friendly. At the same time, students feel that more technical clubs and industry events could be introduced for better exposure.
Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology provides a good balance of education, affordability, and campus life. It is a respected college for engineering students, but placements and modern exposure can be improved further to match top institutes.
The college has a wide campus with clean classrooms, computer labs, library, hostel, and canteen. The greenery and peaceful surroundings help in studies. However, some labs need new equipment, hostel facilities can be improved, and canteen service is not always up to the mark, which affects student comfort.
B.Tech courses cover all important subjects with regular classes, labs, and projects. Teachers are mostly helpful and conduct workshops and seminars. Still, the teaching style feels old at times, and the syllabus does not fully match modern industry skills, so students must do extra effort to stay updated for jobs.
Placements are average but helpful, with companies like TCS, Wipro, and some local industries visiting every year. Around 60–70% of students get jobs with salaries near ₹3–4 LPA. On the negative side, core jobs for Mechanical and Civil are fewer, and high packages are rare, so many students look for off-campus chances.
Campus life is active with annual festivals, cultural shows, and sports events. Students also take part in technical competitions and seminars. Still, compared to colleges in bigger cities, there are fewer clubs, societies, and exposure programs, so extra activities and personal growth opportunities feel limited for some students.
SKN Sinhgad College of Engineering Korti provides a peaceful campus, supportive teachers, and fair placements, making it a good option for average engineering students. At the same time, the college needs to improve industry connections, upgrade labs, and give more exposure if it wants students to compete strongly with top institutes.

The college infrastructure is really good . Classrooms are big and spacious , labs are well maintained and the library is very resourceful. other facilities like WIFI, sports and medical care are good that support student comfort. But, some upgrades could make it even better.
Academics are decent with helpful faculty and a good curriculum , but teaching methods can be improved to make it better. More focus on practical exposure, workshops and a modern learning techniques would make academics much stronger.
Placements are average with a few good companies visiting but most students end up with decent packages. The placement cell is supportive , yet more reputed firms and better training could really boost opportunities.
Campus life is decent with the events, feasts and some clubs to join , giving students chance to engage beyond studies. However, activities and facilities could be improve and could be better organized to create a more lively and good experience.
infra, facilities and equipment’s are there. campus is really big. well maintained libraries and all too but washrooms need more improvement. they could be more clean and hygienic. space is clean, really big like I said so campus is spacious and food is also really nice (of the canteen)
im studying bcom program because im also pursuing ca so it goes well with it. syllabus is a bit similar so they go hand in hand. teaching is good. teachers are quite chill. curriculum is updated. can’t really say im job ready yet cause only in first year
although I am only in first year, so I wouldn’t really know a lot about placements, but I have heard that with the right skills and with the right CV, the package can be good. Good companies also come and recruit students.
the best thing about the campus is the canteen and the playground. they’re always busy. usually students engage in societies. a lot of societies to join cultural as well as non-cultural. students and teacher teachers are good. the crowd is mixed and the location is very safe. It can handle emergencies.the commutation is also very easy.
my experience has so far been very good, it’s only been a few weeks but it’s growing on me. commutation is very very easy. like 2 mins walk from metro and even the food stalls just outside college campus are very nice. attendance is not an issue in dyal singh so anybody who joins can easily pursue some other professional course or anything else if they wish too. teachers are also chill. only a few improvement areas could more active societies , the washrooms and lift facilities good college
My College infrastructure is very specific or unique because of their looks If any wants good looking college then they take admission in our university because of their very good environment surrounded with nature give peace and help to focus on studies.
Our academic is very brilliant because of study styling of our faculty member because our faculty members our highly educated like phd holder or scholars they are very talented and very friendly to students.
Placement is come from our city companies as well as other cities companies also hire our students to see their results or capabilities . Placements like hr , marketing, finance, ib, it . Our students are very capable to grab new opportunities.
Our campus is alot of funny or emotional because we faced everything like winning in competition or losse in competition. We make memories for our future.
No..... This is all about our faculty.

The labs are pretty good. The classrooms are well furnished. The library facilities are good. 2. The hostel facilities need to be improved
1. The teachers are well qualified. Each of them is strong in their own subject. Moreover they are doctorates. They also handle the instruments very well. They also ready us for competitive exams. They help us when we need. Their teaching quality is very extraordinary. Every staff in the department has unique talent.
1.70% students are placed. Others are pursuing higher education. 2. The highest salary-10 L/A, the lowest salary-1.8 L/A, average-3 L/A is provided. 3. Biocon and zifo are the leading companies. 4. Quality control is the top role offered. 5. 10LPA, 1.8 LPA, 3 LPA are the packages provided to our dept. 6. 50% students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure is very good from outside. But when you get into it, classrooms are not properly maintained and floors are cracked everywhere. Main attraction for students is the campus of Haldia Institute of Technology which is big enough for a private college in our surroundings.
Teachers are experienced enough to manage, but not highly experienced or talented in solving problems. Till now, I haven't encountered any teacher skilled enough to handle boarding classes. Proper syllabus management is missing and syllabus completion does not take place.
Not many students get placed. But the average salary package offered is quite good enough to manage, as in a private college. The highest salary package offered depends on how well one masters a skill to get into a multinational company. If one has good skills, one can crack into any company.
The problem with this college is it's infrastructure.Lack of proper rooms, laboratory equipments ,etc. Many rooms don't have AC . Washroom is also not maintained properly at times. Many classes on second floor gets flooded with water during rainy season
The professors over here are really helpful and they explain stuffs really very well. The curriculum is updated according to the new NEP rules. All the study material and books are available in the library.
This campus has very good placement opportunities especially if you are a commerce student.Alot of renowned companies come and a special cell known as Placement cell is made to handle all these tasks.
The infrastructure of the college is good and improves more with time. The college has well-maintained science labs, classrooms, and a library with books, but it is not updated much. There is a separate library for self-study. There are no hostels tyill now, but they are in progress and It completed by 2026. But there are PGs are available near the colleges with good food quality, medical facilities, and laundry
Teachers are well-qualified and very helpful to students. They are also very knowledgeable and teach in both languages, Hindi and English. Some of the courses make students industry-ready according to subjects. Semester exams are qualifying in nature for average students and difficult to top for toppers. 30% is important to pass exams.
As it is a government college, there are placements for the diploma courses, which are different in the college, but have less placement. But many camps for business purposes and many more. A person has to put in their own efforts and preparation for external internships and jobs.
Infrastructure is nice and excellent. The facilities are also available in our course or department, such as books and Wi-Fi facilities. The food available in the canteen and mess is of good quality. Medical facilities are available, and games are also available.
Teachers of our course are very helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The exams are of average level. The passing percentage of students in our course is 80%. This curriculum is relevant and the course is good.
BA is generally an undergraduate course. The students do this course for their undergraduate. The course is very useful. An average percentage of students are placed in our course. Various companies recruit for the course.
The college infrastructure is very supportive for MCA students. There are multiple computer labs with updated systems and software, spacious classrooms, and a well-stocked library. The campus features a seminar hall, canteen, and sports facilities, including a volleyball court and small playgrounds.
Some teachers rely on notes, while others share practical examples that help students grasp real-world applications. The student-faculty ratio is reasonable, which ensures individual attention, and the curriculum is designed to prepare students for the industry.
The highest salary offered was around 12 LPA, with an average package of about 5-6 LPA. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Genpact frequently visit the campus. Available roles include software developer, data analyst, backend developer, and cybersecurity specialist.
The entire campus has Wi-Fi. There are several well-equipped computer labs, a large library with abundant resources, and seminar halls for academic activities. Medical facilities are also available on campus. Students can access a playground and sports facilities.
Faculty members are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable. They offer guidance for projects, internships, and industrial exposure. Modern teaching methods are employed, ensuring the course curriculum remains relevant and practical. Faculty members provide personal attention whenever needed, making learning easier.
Most students find jobs in well-known companies. The placement cell actively helps students prepare for interviews and improve their technical skills. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA to 7 LPA. Around 80 to 85% of students from the MCA batch secure jobs in recognized IT firms.
Classrooms are functional, and there are computer labs with basic systems. Wi-Fi is available but not always reliable, and there are no dedicated facilities for hands-on training related to the industry. The library has a decent collection of books, but there are no medical services on campus.
The faculty members are knowledgeable but limited in number for the BCA department. They are somewhat helpful but not very proactive in guiding students regarding placements or industry exposure. Some faculty teach from notes, while others use textbooks.
In our batch, only about 20 to 30% of us managed to find work. Companies like CodeBridge, NexaSoft, and PixelTech Solutions occasionally hire students, mainly for junior developer or basic IT support jobs. If you want high-paying positions or well-known IT companies, this college may not meet your expectations.
The campus provides a professional learning environment with well-equipped lecture halls, a modern auditorium, and computer labs with updated software for management studies. The library has digital access along with e-journals for management research.
Faculty members emphasize industry-based projects, business simulations, and live case studies. The teaching approach is more interactive, encouraging debates, presentations, and group discussions. The institute also promotes research culture by engaging students in paper writing and seminars, which adds value to academic learning.
Placements at Dewan are career-oriented with emphasis on skill-building before final recruitment. The placement cell arranges corporate exposure programs, pre-placement talks, and industry visits that help students connect with potential employers.
The college's infrastructure is average. There is proper ground for sports or large outdoor events, but space is limited in some areas. The library is large and well-stocked, providing a decent environment for study. Labs are basic and functional but not very modern.
The faculty members are knowledgeable, helpful, and approachable. They are polite and friendly, offering guidance for projects and assignments. While the teaching quality is decent, additional support for industry exposure or placement preparation is minimal. Students gain theoretical knowledge, but practical, industry-ready experience is limited.
Placement opportunities for B/Tech Cse and BCA students are quite limited. Only a small percentage of students get placed each year, mostly in small IT firms or local service-based companies. Companies like LocalTech Solutions, WebNest, and SoftBridge occasionally recruit students for roles such as junior software developer, web designer, and IT support.
My college is the one of the best campuses in Punjab for engineering studies. The environment is green and spacious, creating a peaceful study vibe. Classrooms are well-maintained, and the labs for different engineering branches are fully functional with modern equipment. The library is huge and stocked with books, journals, and online resources. Hostel facilities are good, with Wi-Fi, study rooms, and decent food quality. Sports facilities like cricket, basketball, and indoor games are available.
All faculty members are well-experienced and dedicated. Many of them hold PhDs and bring a strong academic and research background. They explain concepts clearly and connect them with real-world examples. Professors also support students in projects, startups, and internships. Workshops and training sessions are regularly held to enhance technical knowledge. Faculty members also encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding contests, and paper presentations.
Placements are very good, with many service-based and a few product-based companies visiting the campus. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and Cognizant are frequent recruiters. The average package offered is around ₹3.5–4.5 LPA, with top offers touching ₹8–9 LPA. The placement cell conducts regular training sessions, coding workshops, and interview practices. Students from non-IT branches also get chances in manufacturing and construction companies, though IT roles are more common.
College provides all the basic and modern infrastructure needed for an engineering college. Classrooms are neat and many have smart boards. Labs for Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches are well-equipped with practical tools. The computer labs are updated with high-speed internet for coding and project work. The library is a great resource hub with both physical and digital content. Hostel life is comfortable with proper safety and decent mess food. Sports and extracurricular facilities are also available in my college.
Faculty members are encorage and always approachable. Professors not only teach syllabus topics but also guide students toward projects, paper presentations, and hackathons. They encourage independent learning and often use case studies for better understanding. Workshops and seminars with industry experts are common, helping bridge the gap between academics and industry. Faculty also support students preparing for exams like GATE and UPSC.
College provides decent placements, with good chances for IT-related branches. Companies like Infosys, TCS, and HCL are regular recruiters. The average package remains around ₹4 LPA, while some top students from CSE/IT grab packages of ₹8–10 LPA. Placement training starts early, focusing on aptitude, GDs, and interviews. Core companies also visit, especially for Civil and Mechanical students, but job roles are fewer compared to IT.
Infrastructure is decent and provides all facilities for a good learning experience. The classrooms are big and equipped with projectors in some departments. The labs are well-maintained, giving students the chance to learn through experiments. The library is large with both physical and digital study materials. Hostels are safe, with clean rooms, Wi-Fi, and good mess food. Sports facilities and cultural spaces make life outside the classroom enjoyable.
Teaching staff are very helpful and easy to approach. They guide students not only in academics but also in career choices. Professors encourage participation in industry-oriented projects and internships. Guest lectures and industrial visits are regularly organized to give exposure to practical knowledge. Many faculty members are open to discussions beyond class hours, which builds a good relationship with students.
Placements are consistent at my college, especially for CSE, IT, and ECE students. Big recruiters like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro visit every year. The average package stands at around ₹4 LPA, with some higher offers going above ₹7–8 LPA. The placement cell provides training for aptitude, technical skills, and interviews. Core branches also get placed in construction and industrial companies, though numbers are less compared to IT.
