RP Institute of Pharmacy, Karnal was established in the year 2014. It is an affiliated college and is located in Karnal, Haryana, India. The institute is a co-educational one, and the main purpose of the institute is pharmaceutical education. This institute is approved by PCI. The campus covers a compact area of 1 acre. The total student population is 208, and the faculty strength is 19; therefore, the institute provides focused learning to the students.

The institute has various amenities to make the students feel comfortable on campus. There are separate boys' and girls' hostels with all facilities for assuring comfortable accommodation for students coming from far-flung areas of the country. A well-stocked library acts as a knowledge base in support of academic pursuits. Gym facilities and sports facilities are provided for the physical well-being of the students. A medical center with first-aid services in case of health needs, IT setup to keep students connected and updated with digital resources, cafeteria serving dietary needs, auditorium to hold events, seminars, etc., are all available; good maintenance of laboratories under the institute assures practical learning experiences.

At present, RP Institute of Pharmacy offers two full-time diploma courses: D.Pharma and DMLT. The approved intake of students in both programs is 60 each, thus 120 seats annually. D. Pharma is of two years, whereas DMLT courses are of three-year duration. There are students with both knowledge and practical skills in their respective fields, so as to allow  them to pursue different careers in pharmacy or medical laboratory technology.

The admission process to RP Institute of Pharmacy is primarily based on merit. In the case of the D.Pharma program, admission will be strictly based on the inter-se-merit rank developed based on the percentage scored in the qualifying examination.
