Sagar Institute of Pharmaceuticals Sciences (SIPS), was set up in 2004, is a well-known organisation of Pharmaceutical education at Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Located on Narsinghpur Road, near NH 26 this is co-educational institute consisting of a campus area of 2.5 acres. SIPS is affiliated with a college approved by the PCI and the AICTE and thus deliver quality education in the field of pharmacy. This institute is faculty strength is 29 members and provided the number of pharmaceuticals courses including 3 degree course and seven courses to the interested candidate who wants to become a pharmacist and researcher.

SIPS offers seven programmes and courses that offer Diploma, Bachelor’s and Master’s in Pharmacy full-time. The undergraduate programme B.Pharma has 100 intake capacity, D.Pharma course is also there including 60 intake. At the postgraduate level, SIPS proffers the exclusive M.Pharma programmes in Quality Assurance, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry each having only 15 seats. This diverse course offering affords students good chances to identify and lock into their preferred areas of operation within the pharmaceutical sciences.

B.Pharma: Admission into the Bachelor of Pharmacy Program in SIPS is for 100 students. Selection is evidently on the basis of merit earned at a relevant entrance exam and on 10+2 marks of the qualifying examination from the stream of Science, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology. The program encompassed the entire field in pharmaceutical sciences and prepared students for various roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
M.Pharma: SIPS offers specialized M.Pharma programs in 5 streams, with the intake capacity being limited to 15 students in each stream:
1. M.Pharma in Quality Assurance
2. M.Pharma in Pharmacognosy
3. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics
4. M.Pharma in Pharmacology
5. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Typically, a B.Pharma would be required whereas, additional consideration of weightage would also be given to performance at the entrance examination, Bachelor's program, and potentially to an interview.
D.Pharma: The maximum number of students to be admitted for the Diploma in Pharmacy program is 60. This program is intended for candidates who are looking for a short-duration pharmacy course with admission most likely based on the 10+2 results and a relevant entrance examination, if any.
