Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology widely known as SSIT was founded in 2001, situated in B.Gangaram, Sathupally Mandal, Khammam District, Telangana State. This affiliated college approved from All India Council for Technical Education offers a combination of engineering and management courses. With a total area of 26.12 acres of land SSIT has 916 student enrolment and faculty member 95.

Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology boasts some of the best learning structures that avails facilities for the achievement of enhanced learning structures for its students. The institute contains a central and state-of-art library with 42734 books and 9900 English e-book that covers engineering, science, business, and humanities. There are a number of activities in which one can fully participate and showing particular vigour in sporting activities, SSIT provides basic amenities that supports Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Shuttle badminton, Table tennis and several forms of athletics. They include well equipped modern laboratories for practical’s, a 500 seating capacity auditorium, a huge canteen with a variety of foods from various regions. Facilities wise, the students have full support of an IT department, leverages a 44 Mbps Internet connection and Wi-Fi throughout the school compound. Institute also has separate hostel facility for boys & girls out of station so that students have a proper stay facility available to them.

SSIT has an extensive range of programmes to undertake within the field of academe to meet the interests of the students. The institute offers 11 Under Graduate (UG) programmes, B.Tech to be precise, which are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning being the new age specialisations.

The selection criteria at SSIT are mostly done in accordance to the performance in any entrance exam conducted for this purpose. The B.Tech Programs are offered to the students based on the score achieved by them in the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test(TS EAMCET). Candidate wishing to pursue MBA are given admission after siting for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET).
