Sakthi College of Nursing, Dindigul, which was started in the year 2006, is one of the leading nursing colleges in Tamil Nadu, India. This co-educational institution is situated in Sakthi Nagar, Palakkanuthu in Dindigul Palani Main Road; The college provides various nursing courses. Recognised by the INC, the college is an affiliated college and caters to the need for education for aspiring healthcare professionals. Sakthi College of Nursing is located in a large land area of 16 acres; it has a total intake capacity of 448 nursing students and 44 faculty members for looking after the students, which provides an optimistic student-faculty ratio for individual mentorship.

Sakthi College of Nursing has the choice of nursing courses with respect to the education level and the area of specialisation. This institution offers 9 courses at 3 levels of degrees, which includes undergraduate and post graduate. At the undergraduate level it has a 4 year B.Sc Nursing with 60 intakes and at Post Basic it offers a B.Sc Nursing for 40 intakes it is a 2 year course. For any diploma aspiration, the college offers a 4-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course with a total of 50 students and a 2-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) course with a total of 40 students. The postgraduate courses comprise the following M.Sc Nursing specialisations: Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing, for which there are five seats each. All programmes are full-time, so as a result, students receive intensive and focused education in the chosen field.
