About SAM College of Pharmacy, Raisen
Newly formed in 2019, SAM College of Pharmacy, Raisen, is one of the affiliated colleges which is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Recognitions: Pharmacy is coupled by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) keeping the quality standard of education in pharmaceutical studies intact. Situated in the village of Agariya Chopra, Block-Sanchi, the college offers two full-time pharmacy programmes: D.Pharma and B.Pharma.
SAM College of Pharmacy has well equipped facilities with an aim of improving the learning facilities of the students in the college. A stylish and spacious air conditioned hall with the sitting capacity of more than 250 is used for many of the academic activities that include training, guest lectures and conferences. The institute has a computer owned by the laboratory Wi-Fi and seventeen Mega bytes per second leased line based Internet facility for the students to support their reference with online materials. The library section is total and important for the institute as it is full of books and other reading material to meet the requirements of both facultative and students of all branches of pharmacy. In physical activities, a big compounded ground is provided for athletic sports like cricket, volley ball, basket ball, etc For board games like chess, table tennis etc internal arrangements are made.
SAM College of Pharmacy presently teaches two main subjects in the course offered in the faculty of pharmacy. The D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) is a two years full time course and the B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is four years full time course. General Introduction: Both the programmes have an approved intake of 60 seats each, which make 120 seats for both the programmes in two courses. These programmes are aimed at giving the students in-depth understanding of different aspects of pharmaceutical sciences so as to facilitate their achievement of great careers in the subject.
The college offers hostels to the students of both genders and helps students from various areas to live comfortably. Hostel rooms are also spacious, close to natural sources of ventilation; They are fitted with amenities such as wash mater, study table and chairs. Students get to enjoy Electricity and Water round the clock; Televised area and Secure internet Connection-WiFi. Besides the facilities offered by most airlines, the campus includes a cafeteria with different meals of different types, an ATM at the main gate, and a 24-hour health centre meeting all the students’ medical requirements.

A four-year regular course with a maximum intake of 100. Admission to B.Pharma will be based on the state/national pharmacy entrance exam score as well as 10+2 marks. It prepares students for jobs in the pharmaceutical industry and research and clinical-based positions.
