Sant Gajanan Maharaj Rural Pharmacy College Mahagaon, started in 2006, is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University, Gadhinglaj, Kolhapur district, Maharashtra. This is a pharmacy Institution with focus on pharmacy education, it is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is a two-acre institution that is currently accommodating one hundred and twenty four students, and eight teaching members of staff. It lays down four courses, D.Pharma and aims at delivering quality pharma education in the rural backdrop. 

Sant Gajanan Maharaj Rural Pharmacy College has made it its policy to ensure that it offers the best environment to its learners in their college. Among them, it has the best-equipped library resource centre, which is essential for any campus and for the learning process. In a bid to enhance practical content, the institution has set up the departmental laboratory to enhance the practical experience of the students in the field of pharmacy. To meet the requirements of differently placed students, the college provides accommodation for both boys and girls for students who will be travelling long distances to the college, as in the case of Sant Gajanan Maharaj Rural Pharmacy College. The Diploma in Pharmacy course at Sant Gajanan Maharaj Rural Pharmacy College has an intake of 60 seats. Admission to this course is through the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are eligible to apply.

The Bachelor of Pharmacy course has 100 seats. The admission process for B.Pharma is done through an online procedure. Eligible candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics from a recognised board.

Sant Gajanan Maharaj Rural Pharmacy College M.Pharma Admission Process

The total intake is 12 for the M.Pharma Pharma Pharmaceutics programme. The minimum admission requirement is an undergraduate degree of B.Pharma from a reputed institution. Consideration may include academic performance as well as some other factors from the undergraduate curriculum.
