Saraswati Girls College Taranagar (SGC) is an all-women college that started operations in 2007. Set up in Mantri Ke Mohalla, Ward Number 5 in Taranagar Churu Rajasthan, this affiliated college is for the female candidates and protectorship of women education. The overall enrolment has been established to be 395 students and SGC provides two programmes in various fields of study. It is dedicated in offering quality education to young women in order to prepare them for future challenges.

The institution has developed a number of infrastructural development that is intended to support the learning capability of SGC students. The college library is an important information centre and academic resource providing a wide variety of resources to support learners’ academic goal. To support the concept of part practical learning, each department offers a laboratory where the students get to practice what they have learned. It also understands the developmental needs of the students providing the college with sporting activities in matters concerning sports and recreation. On-campus, there is available an auditorium in which various events and seminars are held; students enjoy rich campus life and performances.

As for the academic programmes, they offer at Saraswati Girls College full time two options for students. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme which is an undergraduate three year course has an approved capacity of 240 students. For prospective postgraduate students, the college provides a two years Master of Arts in Geography programme.
