Sardar Raja College of Engineering which started in the year 2000 is an aspiring engineering college in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college having the approval of All India Council for Technical Education {AICT) offers wide and proximity engineering and technology courses. Situated over a vast 25 acre area, SRCE has grown into a technical education centre of excellence. Altogether the college admission 702 students and the faculty members are 92 teachers give the good student-teacher ratio to focus on the students and give good educational opportunities. SRCE provides 14 courses in 3 programmes, focusing on the diversification of the engineering and computer sciences.

Sardar Raja College of Engineering has laid down seamless facilities that can support an investment for shaping students and their learning arena. It is one of the essential academic facilities with a holding of more than 40,000 volumes or textbook, reference, national and international journal and many others. It remains accessible from 8:The library is opened from 6:00pm in the evening until 6:00 am in the morning, and from Monday to Sunday, to include sufficient time for studying or researching. Elements of this sort include the Digital Electronics Lab, the VLSI Lab, and the Microprocessor Lab, which prepares SRCE’s engineering hopefuls for realistic laboratory experiences as found in the engineering world today. To support its focus on the all round development of the students the college has set up sporting activities and a gymnasium to supplement studies.

It has various course clusters and these are the Engineering and Technology courses that SRCE has to offer: The institute offers 14 courses out of which some are under graduate and some are post graduate courses. In the undergraduate level, SRCE trains students in the field of Civil, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and the newly admitted Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. For postgraduate studies, the college offers Master of Engineering (ME) there are specialisations in; Applied Electronics, Communication & Networking Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Structural Engineering, and VLSI Design.

  • Complete application form and send along with documents.
  • Pay application fee as decided by the college or TNEA.
  • Wait for counseling process or merit list as notified by TNEA.
  • On the day of selection, report to SRCE for document verification and admission procedures.

For ME and MCA programmes:

  • Attend the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or any other course-specific entrance exam.
  • Apply directly to SRCE or through the centralised admission process, if available.
  • Complete the application form for the concerned course.
  • Submit all the required documents, such as graduation records and marks in the entrance test.
  • Pay the application fee as prescribed by the college.
  • Appear for counseling or interview, if held by the college.
  • Pay fees and submit original documents on selection, to finalise the admission process.

The approved intake for all the BE programmes is 60 seats except for the Civil Engineering programme and Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 30 seats each.
