Sathya Degree & P.G. College for boys and girls was started in the year 1997 at Vizianagaram of Andhra Pradesh. This affiliated college provides a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and programs in total; there are 9 courses of 5 types of degrees. The college has a faculty of 26 teachers, or 1158 students total: 740 male students and 418 female students.

It provides basic services for academic endeavours and the general well-being of students. A library is a repository of information whereby students can find almost all the resources they require for coursework or research. Concerning practical learning, the college has well-equipped departmental laboratories offering practical experience in various fields of study to the students. Being aware of the significance of technology in present-day education, the college has focused on having an efficient IT facility to help students achieve improved features of the gadgets that they use in their college learning process. 

The college teaches a wide variety of 9 programmes; it offers both UG degree and postgraduate degree programmes. Full-time undergraduate courses offered include 8, while for postgraduates there is only 1 course offered. Students pursuing the B.Sc. at the undergraduate level are offered various programmes such as mathematics, physics, Chemistry, mathematics, physics, Computer science, botany, zoology, Chemistry, and mathematics, chemistry, Computer science. Besides, the college provides B.Com., B.Com. Vocational, BA History Economics and Political Science, and BBA courses. In postgraduate, the college offers an M.Sc Organic Chemistry.
