Satyam College of Engineering and Technology started in the year 2009, affiliated college situated in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The institution is located across 10 acres providing a number of branches in engineering and management disciplines. With a total student enrolment of 523 students, Satyam College has received the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and a total of 134 faculty members. 

The college currently ensures that the learning environment is suitable with adequate physical structures. For the practical training facility, the campus has separate laboratories of Civil, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics and Mechanical engineering disciplines. A large collection of over twenty thousand books in engineering, technology and other related topics, and in general knowledge, periodicals, journals, newspapers, and magazines from both within and outside the country are stored in a large library. Internet service is also available in the college through a WiFi technology on 8 Mb/s data rate on entire campus so that they can have access on net facility.

There are in total twelve courses in Satyam College of Engineering and Technology that include six BE courses, five ME courses and one MBA course. All courses are on a full-time basis so that students are able to gain both a theoretical and hand-on experience in their chosen disciplines. 

The criteria of admission at Satyam College of Engineering and Technology is mainly on merit and more so as provided by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions or TNEA for the Bachelor of Engineering degree courses. For ME and MBA programs, the college recognizes the scores of the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG).
