Savitribai Phule Mahila Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya is situated at Peth Vadgaon, Maharashtra, India, and is founded with a view of preparing teachers. This affiliated college was set up in 2005 and has been training teachers for almost two decades. Located in a small area of just 2 acres, this institute provides a dedicated area of learning for intending teachers. A total of 91 students and 4 faculty of the college ensure that the college has a small student-faculty ratio that guarantees close student-faculty relationships. The institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), thus meeting the national norm in teacher education.

Savitribai Phule Mahila Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya offers its multi Faculty Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course with the aim of producing quality teachers that will impart education. This two-year full course prepares the students to qualify for the teaching profession in order to enhance the profession at all levels. Ninety-one seats in this programme are offered in the college, and the management maintains a sound student-instructor ratio as a priority. For the course fee, students are charged 81,000 rupees to maximise the enrolment rate of intending teachers from all over the country. 

This institution has an admission policy that is a compliance with the State Government, UT Administration, and the affiliated University. For collegians, it is the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. The college may also use other techniques as used in the current employment legislation.
