Admission procedures to the different medical programmes of the School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida, formed under Sharda University, have been well defined. The institute is recognised by the National Medical Commission and admits through national entrance examinations. NEET-UG is the only examination for admission at the undergraduate level. The School of Medical Sciences and Research flagship programme – MBBS – has an intake capacity of 250, based on NEET-UG scores. Admission into the MBBS course is purely on the basis of NEET-UG scores. The institute has 250 seats for the course. One has to qualify for 10th and 12th standards with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The School of Medical Sciences and Research also offers 18 programmes for the award of MD/MS titles with a total of 93 seats for admission on the basis of NEET-PG scores. The more sought MD/MS courses are:

It has M.Sc. programmes in medical anatomy, biochemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, and physiology. The School of Medical Sciences and Research admission to these courses is largely based on a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline; detailed admission information has not yet been finalised.

School of Medical Sciences and Research Ph.D Admission Process

Physiology, Community Medicine, and Pathology have places for Ph.D. The online entrance examination conducted by Sharda University must be passed before interview admission is granted to these programmes.
