SES Polytechnic College, Siruguppa, founded in the year 1985, is one of the prime technical institutions located in Bellary, Karnataka. This affiliated college, being approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), presents a variety of diploma programmes in engineering. The college occupies a 5.85-acre piece of land and has a total enrolment of 455 students and a teaching staff of 34. SES Polytechnic College has an aim of developing a technologically sound generation; hence, they provide quality technical education through six full-time diploma courses in several branches of engineering.
SES Polytechnic College, also known as Solapur Education Society’s Polytechnic, was established in 1984. It is a private institution offering 3-year diploma courses in five engineering disciplines. The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This college boasts highly equipped facilities in every department that contribute to increased learning for the intended students. Currently, there are hostels for boys and girls, which were constructed to accommodate one hundred and fifty boys and fifty girls. Such facilities include bathrooms, water and power supplies during the twenty-four hours, a water purification system known as RO, and wireless networking, also known as Wi-Fi, respectively. The college has a vast collection of books, more than 13,000, comprising encyclopaedias, handbooks, and national/international journals.
In total, SES Polytechnic College has six full-time diploma courses, all of which are regular. Today, the college offers 6 courses. These diploma programmes cover all aspects of engineering so as to meet the needs of the students as per their interest and desire to get a certain kind of job.
