SGNSD College of Education and D.Ed. Centre, Uchana Kalan, was established in the year 2007 and is a co-educational institution sited in Haryana, India.  The college offers courses related to education under its roofs and has got its affiliation approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The work area of the institute is confined, having a campus measuring 4.5 acres in size. There are two full-time courses with a total enrolment of 188 students. The faculty strength of the college is of 12 members, hence helping every student personally.

The college's facilities are in plenty and are there to ensure a better learning experience for the students. Among such infrastructure is a fully stocked library and information centre that acts as a knowledge hub with a varied collection of many textbooks, reference books, and education journals. There are well-equipped laboratories for science and educational psychology, where practical experiments can be done. While sports facilities are also provided to take good care of physical health, an auditorium would be the appropriate place of accommodation for a number of events, seminars, and such activities. SGNSD College of Education and D.Ed. Centre runs two regular courses of teacher education at the undergraduate level. While B.Ed has an approved intake of 100 seats, the D.Ed course can admit a batch of 50 students. Both are two-year programs that provide intensive training in educational theories and the methodology of teaching. 

The process of admission at SGNSD College of Education and D.Ed. Centre desires to admit the most appropriate candidates in the teacher education programs run by the institution. Admissions in the B.Ed course are taken on the basis of merit of marks scored in the qualifying examination and entrance examination. There may be other additional selection procedures enforced from time to time through the policies of the State Government/UT administration, and the affiliated university in the college.
