Shanti Devi College of Education was established in the year 2007, and this co-ed college has been shaping young minds since then. This college occupies a small campus of 3 acres. This is an affiliated college and approved by NCTE, proof of its commitment towards quality teacher education. The total student enrollment for Shanti Devi College is 169 and faculty strength is 13.

The institution has provided various facilities to make the learning process comprehensively enriching. There is a well-spaced and well-furnished library as the core of all academic activities with reading, newspaper, reference, and magazine sections. The gym and the sports facilities in the college cater to the physically fit and assures a healthy balance of mental and physical fitness. The IT infrastructure, which includes 15 modern computers with internet access, make sure that a student is always connected in this digital age. In the same way, the college is well-equipped with separate boys' and girls' hostels wherein students from outside may safely and comfortably reside. A canteen caters to the culinary needs of the college community. 

The institution focuses on teacher training as far as academics are concerned. As of now, only one course is offered in Shanti Devi College of Education: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. The two-year full-time course has an approved intake capacity of 100 students.
