Shanti Niketan College, Akodia Mandi, which is at present offering higher education, was established in the year 2009 and is located at Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh. Being a relatively young college, this institution has been expanding its academic services since its establishment. Being a private institution of small size occupying only five acres of land, the college allows personal approach to education. The college has 30 learners and 8 members of staff, this makes the college to have a good ratio of learners per teacher which will play a big role of training one and on one basis.

Shanti Niketan College also has a number of infrastructures that seek to further the learning ability of the students of this learning institution. A library is well stocked and well equipped that is able to support academics and research. Labs in the college are designed to meet practical teaching and learning requirement of sciences especially for the B.Sc learners. To promote the health of students, the institution provides an opportunity for sport and physical activities as well as a gym. This has been improved by the presence of an auditorium that is used for event and seminar occasions in order to promote the academic and cultural life of the campus. The college is affiliated to Vikram University, Ujjain.

There is a total of four courses but across three degree levels. The faculties and disciplines comprising academic services are Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and two science stream Bachelor of Science (B.Sc courses) in Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Computer Science, Mathematics, & Physics.
