Sheth Purushottamdas Thakordas Arts and Science College, Godhra is one of the oldest institutions of Gujarat established in 1960. It is located in Panchmahal district and offers co-education. The college is built over an area of 43 acres with a range of options in both Arts and Science. The total number of students in the college stand at 2,968 while the staff strength is 29 for keeping up a healthy student-teacher ratio. The faculties provided by the college are rich and useful for the students at the college. 

All these facilities tend to centre around a well-stocked library with a huge collection of knowledge in rare books, manuscripts, a huge collection of encyclopedias, and subject dictionaries.
