One of the premier institutions of education, nourishing future teachers since 1992, is Shiv College of Education, Faridabad. It is a co-educational college and extends over 3 acres of land with a total student enrolment of 785 and a faculty strength of 57. This affiliated college has been duly recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. 

The college has quite a few facilities to enrich the learning process of students. The well-stocked library has more than 17,733 books, 19 national journals, and 22 magazines, with a seating capacity of 210 students. It also offers DELNET access for online resources, photocopying, printing, and scanning. Shiv College of Education runs a total of three courses, all of which are full-time. These comprise B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education), M.Ed. (Master of Education), and D.Ed. (Diploma in Education).

The admission procedure in Shiv College of Education shall be based on merit, with marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/ or entrance examination. The admission to B.Ed. course will be as per policy of State Govt., UT administration and the affiliating University. The admission process to the M.Ed. program is on similar lines, where admission shall be based on merit in the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or any other selection process as per the State Government or University policies.
