Shivajirao Deshmukh Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya at Shirala and co-educationally offers different programs for teacher education. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed: The B.Ed program at Shivajirao Deshmukh Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya accommodates educationally 50 students. Candidates are admitted on merit, based on their performance in the qualifying exams. Prospective students must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any discipline to be considered for admission to the B.Ed program. 

M.Ed: The Master of Education (M.Ed) still regulates 50 students through its program. It is thus thoroughly grounded in merit-based teaching for admissions in M.Ed also. Candidates must have done their B.Ed or an equivalent degree in education from a recognized university to be eligible for the M.Ed program. 

D.Ed: The institute also provides the Diploma in Education (D.Ed) course. Meanwhile, D.Ed proceeds with much the same procedure as the rest on merit alone for admissions. While, in the D.Ed context, no capacity has been specified, interested candidates will necessarily check the actual number of seats and facts about the eligibility for the program.
