Located in Golpura village, Barwala Tehsil, District Panchkula, Shree Satguru Dev College of Education, Panchkula, was started in the year 2006 to cater to the much-needed resource of teachers in the state of Haryana, India. This affiliated college has been duly recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. The institute offers a range of education-oriented courses such as B.Ed, M.Ed, D.El.Ed, and D.Ed. With 16 faculty members, the college works to develop the prospective teachers who will take upon themselves the onus of shaping the young minds effectively.

The institution has several facilities that help students in the process of learning. Library—the hub of learning and research for students—is fully stocked with more than 10,000 books, 15 print journals, and 4 online journals. Shree Satguru Dev College of Education is running a total of four full-time courses oriented toward teacher education. The admission procedure for Shree Satguru Dev College of Education is based on merit, with respect to the marks in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests. The admission procedure for B.Ed and D.Ed is as per the state government, UT Administration, and the affiliated university policies. Admission to D.El.Ed. also lies within the state government or UT Administration.
