About SSSMCRI Kancheepuram
Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute (SSSMCRI), established in 2008, is a prestigious constituent medical college located in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. This institution is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), and offers a wide range of courses in different disciplines, catering to both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of medical education. The college campus spans an area of 135 acres. Currently, it has a student enrolment of 1055 and a highly experienced faculty of 164 members.
Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute has many facilities that make the learning environment fulfilling and support students' academic pursuits. It has a well-equipped library containing more than 11,000 books, various national and international journals, and many academic resources. The college provides excellent IT facilities for the students. A cafeteria on a college campus serves equally to the students as well as college staff members. Sports and gym facilities are also available on a college campus for students who are enthusiastic about fitness and extracurricular activities. In addition, there is a separate boys and girls hostel along with medical facilities.
In academics, Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute offer 25 courses in 4-degree programmes including B.Sc Medical Lab Technology, B.Sc Clinical Research, B.Sc Operation Theatre Technology, MBBS, MS General Surgery, MS ENT, MD Radiology, MD General Medicine, MD Radiology. All these programmes reflect the basic objectives of the college, which go towards Medicine and Allied Sciences. This commitment ensures that the students can access different academic programmes as per their academic interests

Teachers are knowledgeable. As more classes are operational and patient load is less. Students will miss out on many different subjects. The lesson is important and the pass rate is good but the problem is a lot of internal politics in the exams.
