Shri Shanti Kishore Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya is an educational institute situated in Bhind city of MP and is an institute to provide education to future teachers. Launched in 2006, this affiliated college has been in the business of preparing teaching talent for more than fifteen years. The college is located at Vikrampura, By Pass Road.The college is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education ( NCTE ) which shows its promise of providing effective teacher training. It makes an ideal place for any gender aspiring to become teachers since it is a co-educational institute.

Shri Shanti Kishore Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya boasts of providing the students with a host of amenities vis-à-vis the improvement of their stances. Sports lovers have an opportunity to use the college sports facilities that foster health as well as the scholar’s education. Opportunities for practical experience include use of the modem departmental-based laboratory where students can apply the theory learnt in practice. In terms of health the college values the health of students, the college has provided a health center that has a first aid. In order to cope with present days highly developed technologies Manning has excellent IT facilities and students are quite familiar with CMC technologies in education system. It currently has only two regular course in the field of education or skill that is B. Ed and B. Ed. special education. Master of Arts (M.A English)With an intake capacity of 100 Students the Bachelor of Education (B.ED) programme is intended for those who wish to be teachers of secondary schools. For the people who would like to join primary teacher training, the Diploma in Elementary Education or D.El.Ed programme is offered to 50 students. They both take two years, the course offers exposure to teaching skills and theories in education. The college manages to give special attention to these two core programmes hence training student teachers adequately to enable them face future tasks of nurturing young generations.

Admission criteria at Shri Shanti Kishore Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya are based on merit which is in line with this colleges’ focal point of delivering quality education. For the B.Ed programme The selection of the students depends on the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and/ or an entrance test. The principles of selection have been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the state government of Madhya Pradesh and the affiliated university.
