Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Ayurved College and Hospital started in the year 2010, affiliated to RTM Nagpur University, situated in JAIPUR(INDIA) Rajasthan. Tucked in a 16.78 acre compound, this co-educational institute only focuses on Ayurveda education and treatment. College is also recognised by Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) which makes it follow certain set standards in imparting education regarding Ayurveda. The college currently has 247 students and number of faculty members in our college is 27; thus the college has a healthy students-faculty ratio facilitating excellent learning environment.
Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Ayurved College and Hospital has general outfit to complement and augment the education of the students enrol for college education. A well spacious library built for the college has more than 10,120 volumes related to Ayurvedic and allied medicines for the students. The library also provides selected browsers for use in online search for information. The facilities include departmental laboratories essential in practical training in the area of Ayurveda. Affordable medical and sports fascilities In order to ensure holistic development, the college includes sports ground, and hall for seminars or events. The institution also has concern for students’ health through provision of an institution medical centre for first aid services. So far, there is only one main course offered by Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Ayurved College and Hospital – The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The training offered here is a six years full time Ayurvedic medical course to cater the requirements of the total health system. The college currently has an approved capacity to admit 50 students for this course with admission control being used as a measure to ensure the college produces quality education. The BAMS programme is aimed at providing the learners with a wide and profound understanding of Ayurveda aiming at a successful practice in the system.
The admission to the BAMS programme for Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Ayurved College and Hospital is offered on merit basis. Admission tests are also done in the university and the candidates are chosen according the scores they get in the exams. To get admission in MBBS course you need to qualify NEET atleast. The qualification marks this year is 147 for unreserved category.
