Shri Sumer Mahila PG Mahavidyalaya, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, was established in 2012 and is now one of the leading women’s college in the urban city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Located near Mandore Road, close to Mahamandir Circle, this institution has been in service to teach young minds for the past 10 years. The college occupies a small piece of land of 0.09182 acre and therefore is capable of admitting only limited number of students at one time. Having a total of 779 students and faculty members of 22 in number, the college has a good student-teacher ration, adding further quality strokes into education. It has four programmes to accomplish every individual’s academic needs and job preferences.

Shri Sumer Mahila PG Mahavidyalaya is aware of its task as a provider of all round education as evident in the facilities offered. The library is designed as a reservoir of books, journals, magazines, and other learning resources to support student’s learning needs. It provides desirable conditions for individual and group study in support of students’ and faculty members’ educational process. Science students are assured of facilities as the college has proved to have the best equipped laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Geography and Home Science taken care by our able and qualified lecturers. The college also understands the need to balance sport by providing sport amenities to its students so as to encourage them to take exercises.

Out of these, four are undergraduate courses and all the courses are offered as full time programmes in Shri Sumer Mahila PG Mahavidyalaya. The programmes include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and two science programmes which are B.Sc in Math, Physics, and Chemistry, and B.Sc in Chemistry Biology and Zoology. These programmes are intended to help students with differing academic and career aspirations.
