Shri Varnee Digamber Jain Gurukul College was established in 2009 as an affiliated college of Madhya Pradesh which is situated in Jabalpur. Located at the front side of Pishanhari Madiya, this educational institution is built on a 5 acre of land and caters to provide a good environment for learning. NCTE affiliated and recognised college, is focused on teacher education programmes. The institution even has 180 students intake and has 25 faculty members which retained a proper student faculty ratio and helps in providing good education.

The Bachelor of Education programme  and the Master of Education programme for students . Each of the programmes takes two years to accomplish and is aimed to prepare professional teachers. Teacher education is one of the main specialisations of the college thus, the college plays a vital role of nurturing skilled professional people in the area of education.

Shri Varnee Digamber Jain Gurukul College follows the admission policy which strictly conducts admission based on marks secured by the students in the examination which is either the qualifying examination or the entrance examination. The admission policy for the B.Ed programme is done in accordance with the policy set by the State Government, UT Administration and the affiliated University for the programme. Likewise, the M.Phil programme also has merit-based admission norms, which are as per the rules of the state government, University or UT as relevant is concerned.
