Silli College was set up in 1980 in Silli, Ranchi Jharkhand is an affiliated college. The institution occupies a campus area of 11.1 acres and it has number of under graduate programmes. Silli College is NAAC accredited, has a total strength of 4705 students and has 38 faculty members. The college offers 22 courses in 5 degree programmes, offering arts, commerce, and science streams. Silli College itself stands with a mission to have the students par excellence with strength, skill, and caratter building up a holistic education system.

Silli College currently has a total of 19 under graduate programmes offered under arts, Science and Commerce streams. It offers all types of programmes; however, it emphasises full-time programmes and regular courses. The largest number of intakes is observed in the first phase for the BA programme, which has 1,834 seats BA English Hons and BA Sanskrit Hons etc. while the B.Sc has 161 and B.Com has 109. Thus, as for the total student intake capacity to be 4705, it is difficult to define the graduate number in the latest year.
