Sitaram Mahato Memorial College, Purulia, established in 2013, is a constituent institution at Anandadeep, West Bengal. Within a very short period of time, the college has been able to establish itself among the top centers of higher education in the locality. The college campus is spread over 6 acres of area and offers 9 different courses under 2 degree programmes mainly in Bachelor of Arts (BA) disciplines. The college offers all-round development experience to 1,650 students with 24 faculty members. For BA courses in the present college, a candidate has to qualify in Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent examination. Admission is purely online with merit basis strictly following the guidelines of the State Government and the affiliating Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University.
