Sivaji College of Engineering and Technology more commonly known as SCET was started in the year 2009 and is an affiliated college situated at Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. An AICTE accredited college, Sree Vidyanikethan provides all engineering and management disciplines on its lush green sprawling campus of 10.43 acres. SCET now offers total of 293 students and a total faculty of sixty-eight members. The college offers 9 programmes in 3 levels of degrees specifically in engineering discipline and management education. This brings out the need to technical college education for SCET preparing individuals who are capable to tackle a Nation’s market demands.

Sivaji College of Engineering and Technology has signed for modern facilities to compliment the colleges academic activities. Students receive the services of well-equipped laboratories to facilitate their practice training, regardless of the department. A large library contains more than 5000 different book titles as well as other materials in audio-visual and electronic format. The campus consists of boys and girls’ hostels exclusively to provide out-station students a comfortable living experience. The information technology facilities of SCET include modern computing facilities and all sophistication personal computers which are linked with LAN having the internet facilities. Amino-2012 Sivaji College of Engineering and Technology has generalised its courses to fit a number of fields of interest. The traditional engineering disciplines are Mechanical Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science & Engineering and in addition new age stream like Agriculture Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science is under offered by the platform. At post graduate level the Institute offers ME Programme in Construction Engineering and Management and Computer Science Engineering and MBA Programme. The total approved intake for all the courses is 396 students and this shows that the college is in a position to produce a large number of professional annually.
