SKA College of Education, Theni, which was started in 2015, is co-educational institution mainly focused in teacher education. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) of India, this affiliated college is sited in Ponnagar, Aundipatty, Tamil Nadu. Sited on 8 acres of land, the SKA College of Education has adequate learning conditions for students intending to join the teaching fraternity. This institution has a total student enrolment of 113 and a total number of faculty members as 14, this makes the student instructor ratio is optimal thus, providing individual attention as well as quality education.

SKA College of Education has facilities within it that should in one way or another help improve on students’ learning. A well furnished girls’ hostel can house up to 100 students, each student has individual cots, chairs and cupboards. The institution is technology well endowed through a well equipped computer laboratory with multi-media and Internet facilities. In addition, there is a college psychology laboratory with 13 pieces of apparatus and 28 inventories that allow students to complete different experiments in the sphere of adolescence and childhood psychology.

SKA College of Education offers one primary course, the Bachelors in Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a two year full-time course with an approved enrolment capacity of one hundred students to make surethat the college produces quality teachers. B.Ed programme is aimed at preparing students for effective practice in a complex world of education and to build up an effective teaching personality.
