SLBS Pharmacy College, Jodhpur, was set up in the year 2018 and it is the newly emerging college for the purpose of pharmacy education. It is affiliated college situated inJodhpur-Jaipur National Highway near Bypass Dangiyawas and the extent of this college is 18 acres. SLBS Pharmacy College is PCI approved as well as PCI affiliated pharmacy college which is approved and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE). Has an overall enrolment of 97 students and faculty of eight persons which makes the college personalised in its approach. The institution provides only one programme, which indicates its focused strategy of forming the pharmacists.

SLBS Pharmacy College infrastructure involves the facilities that could improve the student character and develop academic activities. The college accommodates a modern stocked-up library and making sure that student’s access to lots of materials on pharmaceuticals. Modern intricate laboratories are used to accommodate to the different interests of pharmacy education so that students practice what they intend to specialise in. It also has sound IT facilities to meet the students’ needs, and the latest technological advancement to be informed of the several changing aspects within the pharmaceutical business. The college also provides accommodation for the disabled student where there are separate hostels for fresh boys and girls to allow them have a comfortable environment for learning.

The college at the moment has only one course to offer, a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) which is a two years full course. This programme has a planned enrolment of 60 students, the college’s policy on desirable student enrolment ratio for individual attention. The scope of the D.Pharma course is to equip learners with adequate knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences to allow him/her fit a variety of places in the pharmacy industry.

Like many Pharmacy colleges, admission process in SLBS Pharmacy College is clear and open to all. The college offers admissions to the D.Pharma programme possibly through merit in the qualifying examinations in related disciplines. SLBS Pharmacy College is relatively new in the college system, it is gradually establishing its credibility as an institution for the education of Pharmacists.
