SLC’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad campus, was established in 2005 and is a recognised educational institution in Hyderabad, Telangana, near the famous Ramoji Film City. Located in a 10-acre campus, this co-educational institute provides a number of undergraduate programmes in engineering for the technocrats. Since its affiliation for almost one and a half decades, it has been defining the course for engineering education. The institute offers five full-time B.Tech programmes to further different fields of engineering and ensure students’ pluralism.

SLC’s Institute of Engineering and Technology stands for a set of up-to-date facilities which help to improve the learning process in the faces of students. The rich resource centre is a store of excellence with accommodated Indian and foreign journals and magazines to sustain the standard of education. The computer centre had IBM and HP branded workstations backed by servers from the same company, Hewlett Packard, and boasts a high-speed internet connection of 20 MBPS. Bharucha has noted that students achieve Wi-Fi connectivity that is available throughout the campus day and night. The college boasts a state-of-the-art laboratory facility with modern facilities for workshops, foundries, forging, physics, chemistry and electronics. A microprocessor lab is available to computer science students where the students can directly work on contemporary technologies.

SLC's Institute of Engineering and Technology provides five B.Tech programmes in total, and all of them are under full-time programmes. These programmes are Computer Science and Engineering, electronics and communication engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Every programme focuses on equipping the students with adequate knowledge in their areas of speciality so that they can face today’s technology.

In the Institute of Engineering and Technology of SLC, the majority of the admissions are done based on the score obtained in the TS EAMCET entrance exam. This is a state-level examination which is an important step for a candidate who wants to be placed in this institute’s B.Tech courses. The level of accommodating students from different parts of the country is well catered to by the availability of boys and girls hostels at the institute.
