Teacher Education College is a new college established in the year 2016 in Theni, Tamil Nadu Province of India and named Spice Valley Teacher Education College. This affiliated college provides teacher education, and this college provides sharp and specific courses to those students who want to become teachers. The college is located on a small piece of landscape having an area of nearly 1 acre; hence, the students find the college conducive for their education. A total of one hundred and thirty learners, besides having a faculty of eleven staff members, also facilitate a better student-to-teacher ratio that guarantees quality teaching. With regard to facilities, Teacher Education College has many facilities that aim at improving the learning facility for its students. Right from the middle of the institution, there is a standard library with a size of 2253 sq. ft. and a reader capacity of 100. 

More than 5000 books, 100 volumes of journals, and 50 CDs, which are essential in our course, are stocked in the Berg Integrated Library. It also pays for 5 national journals, 10 magazines, and 3 newspapers that allow the students to read the latest information and research documents. The college has incorporated the use of technology in the management of its library through a computerised system that enables students to search for the resources through an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Also, it has access to the UGC N-List online package that comprises 96,000 e-books and electronic journals. In addition, for teachers who majored in science subjects such as Physics, the college sees to it that practical knowledge prevails through properly equipped laboratories as part of the college learning facilities. The institution also appreciates the place of technology education today, offering computer laboratory facilities for academic research and other class projects. As part of structuring a more inclusive development paradigm, the college avails sporting amenities for physical fitness besides education.

Spice Valley Teacher Education College currently offers one primary course: it is called the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme. This course takes two years and is full-time. Union of students with a view of joining the teaching profession. The college has an authorised capacity for admitting one hundred students for this programme, consistent with its mission of graduating a vast number of qualified educators per year. Although the institute offers only this one-degree programme, it illustrates a commitment to cultivating knowledgeable teachers.
