Sri Jayadev College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, one of the well-known institutions, was instituted in 1983 and is situated at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This affiliated college is PCI approved and has emerged as a key player in defining the trend of pharmacy education over the last three and a half decades. SJCPS is a large learning institution with a compound that occupies approximately 8 acres of land, which provides an appropriate learning atmosphere. The college is currently offering education to 290 candidates and is staffed by a teaching cadre of 31 highly committed individuals. SJCPS presently has 6 courses under 3 programmes of study that focus on diverse sub-disciplines in the pharmaceutical sciences.

Sri Jayadev College of Pharmaceutical Sciences boasts of having developed some of the best equipment and infrastructure to support learning among students. SJCPS has a different hostel for boys as well as girls, fully facilitated with all necessities of today’s world. These hostels include ‘round-the-clock power backup, solar water heating, hygienically designed dining, and high-speed broadband connection facilities. SJCPS provides all kinds of pharmaceutical courses to fulfil different students’ dreams. The college offers 6 full-time programmes: diploma, bachelor's, and master’s in pharmacy. The total approved intake scheme for all courses offered is 290. At the undergraduate level, the SJCPS has kept its 60 seats of D.Pharma and 100 seats of B.Pharma. For postgraduate studies, the college offers distinct M.Pharma programmes in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology, which have 15 seats each. These programme aim at preparing the students with intense knowledge and mastery of real-time skills that are always demanded in the challenging market of pharmaceutical industries.
