Sri Jayaram Institute of Engineering and Technology (SJIET), a young and flourishing engineering college, was set up in the year 2014 at Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. SJIET is located at a vast area of 13 acres; it offers various diverse engineering programmes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute offers a total enrolment of 247 students and has a faculty of 80 members, thus proving the student-faculty ratio is favourable. SJIET offers seven undergraduate engineering programmes out of which the available course specialisations are mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, agriculture engineering, computer science engineering, artificial intelligence, & data science engineering.

At present, SJIET teaches 5 full-time undergraduate engineering Engineering Programmes, all four-year Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes. The courses offered are mechanical engineering, agriculture engineering, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence data science, and computer science engineering. With a total approved student enrolment capacity of 247 across its programmes, the institute has shown seriousness in its goals of offering quality education while always striving to keep class sizes reasonable.
