Sri Kaliswari Institute of Management and Technology (SKIMT) was set up in 2012 and is an affiliate college in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. This is a co educational college recognized by AICTE and provides post graduate level courses. SKIMT is a small college occupying a 2.54-acres land; therefore, the college’s total enrollment is 83 students, and the students ratio are fairly divided as 53% are males while 47% are females. Its faculty strength is 5 members and at present the institute is offering only one programme with specialization in Management. , the business administration school of Kerala, SKIMT is particularly famous due to its high-quality training.

For this purpose Sri Kaliswari Institute of Management and Technology offers several facilities to provide a better learning environment of the students. The campus has ‘boys’ hostel and ‘girls’ hostel with facility of Internet connection and disciplined wardens to look after the students. The college library has over 2850 management text books, 30 national journals and magazines, 5 international journals, project reports, question banks etc. As a prerequisite for skillful learning, SKIMT has a fully equipped-computer laboratory having 60 laptops with current configuration and upgraded software. The classrooms are also well laid, adequately ventilated and fitted with LCD projectors in readiness for teaching aided by multimedia. Other infrastructural facilities include a play ground, canteen, gymnasium, open-air theatre, and health service centre with first aid.

There is MBA offered in full time programme by Sri Kaliswari Institute of Management and Technology. It runs for two years and has an approved capacity to take sixty students with special learning needs into the course each year. This postgraduate programme offers students general education on numerous aspects of business administration. This institute has been established to provide quality education along with the theoretical concept combined with the practical approach to face corporate world.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is the primary vehicle through which Sri Kaliswari Institute of Management and Technology makes its admissions. Students aspiring to take admission into various management courses in the Tamil nadu are made to sit for this state level entrance examination . The institute also looks at other qualifying factors as defined by the state government and other regulatory institutions. The Scholarship at present is implemented at SKIMT, in their postgraduate level; according to record 2022, 3 students out of 60 were rewarded with reimbursements showing that the institute does financially support deserving students. Training and placement cell function in SKIMT facilitates campus recruitment by arranging on campus recruitment programmes and coordinating with prospective recruiters for offering jobs to its final year students.
