Sri Lachiram Mahavidyalaya, Ghazipur: Admission 2026, Cutoff, Courses, Fees, Placements, Ranking

Sri Lachiram Mahavidyalaya, was established in the year 2010 having its Separate Campus of Co-educational institution situated at village Salikapur, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. This institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers only teachers’ training. The total number of students in the college is 291 and there are 15 faculties which explain why the college has the small size of the classroom. At the moment, the institute awards only one course – the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), which is a two-year, full-time programme . 

Sri Lachiram Mahavidyalaya has several amenities that are intended to help improve the learning environment of the college’s students. The spacious library contains up-to-date textbooks, support materials in English & Hindi dictionaries, encyclopaedas, magazines and journals are also there. For the sports lovers and persons interested in sports activities the college provides the facilities of cricket ground, football ground, hockey, volleyball, and badminton ground, table tennis, etc. other outdoor and indoor games. The institution also has functional laboratories as required by practical subjects to ensure that students have practical experience handling their kind of projects. To meet its educational goals, Sri Lachiram Mahavidyalaya has adopted the use of modern technologies.

At present, the college offers only one programme: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). This course is aimed at producing professional teachers to teach in the elementary level through preparation of professional development programmes. 

There is a Common Entrance Test for admission into Sri Lachiram Mahavidyalaya or merit based on results in a test conducted by the University or State Government. The approach also ensures that only deserving can be able to attain the chance of getting education at the institution.
