    Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy Opened in the year of 1993, Chennai is constituent college of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. This esteemed institution located in Porur, Chennai, was established to cater to the need of pharmaceutical education in the country for almost three decades now. The college is affiliated to AICTE, New Delhi and PCI, Delhi, which makes the college uphold the standard of education required in the field. This institute has 59 dedicated faculty members, which provide 10 different courses under four degree programmes to meet the various specialisations in the field of pharmacy.

In order to provide letter and personal development of its students, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Pharmacy is fully furnished with infrastructures that are of modern society. The college possesses a forty thousand square feet’ library consisting of medical and allied health sciences, engineering and technology books, medical journals, etc., which are 63518, 5195, and 1282, respectively.

The institution also hosts and accommodates students in comfortable hostels for both males and females, with 3,608 rooms on the compound. It offers 10 regular courses, of which five are at the graduate level, one at the diploma level, and the rest are postgraduate courses offered at the institute: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), and various Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) specialisations. 

    The B.Pharma programme is one of the most sought-after programmes which has an approved academic entrance capacity for one hundred students, while the D.Pharma programme admits only thirty students per year. Post graduation at present offered are M.Pharma courses on the following specialisations: Pharmaceutical Analysis 9, Pharmacology 9, Pharmaceutics 15, Pharmacognosy 9, Pharmacy Practice 9, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs 9. Further, it awards 10 seats for the Pharm.D. postbaccalaureate programme.
