Sri Rangapoopathi College of Engineering is a prestigious college located in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, India, which was inaugurated in 2009 with a focus on providing engineering education. Spread over a large land area of 12 acres, this affiliated college has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The total enrolment capacity for students is 287, and the faculty is 90. The college has programmes in engineering in many specialities. It is from the array of nine courses offered at three degree levels that students can effectively realise their engineering dreams at the institute.

It is managed by the Sri Rangapoopathi Educational and Charitable Trust and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.  Many features in the college are meant to support learning and development, and the cream of it is most commendable. The library is well-equipped and provides the knowledge that is required for academic purposes. Sophisticated laboratories furnished with the relevant processing technology will be utilised for practical purposes in most of the engineering disciplines.  The college has an auditorium, which is used for seminars, conferences, and cultural activities that make students active on the college campus. To enhance its social responsibility, a health facility with emergency treatment floors is situated in the institution. In order to meet the various courses and programmes the students as well as the market require, Sri Rangapoopathi College of Engineering has developed the following group of engineering programmes. It has nine regular courses with different degrees offering programmes in the institute, offering both BE and ME, and diploma courses. The BE programmes include the core disciplines, which are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
