Sri Siddhartha College of Education is one of the premier teacher education institution situated in Tumkur district of Karnataka state and was established in the year 1972. This affiliated college, recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, offers excellent education facilities in its solo 8 acre campus. The college offers an opportunity of 99 student intake with a faculty of 8 hence improving the education needed for any aspiring teacher. There is an opportunity for students to study at the institute and take a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for development of skilled and competent potential teachers.

Sri Siddhartha College of Education has a variety of amenities that improve students’ learning and over all development. The library offers 11, 650 volumes out of which it subscribes to 40 educational journals and this is one area the hospital has not skimped on learning.. The college has a health centre with first aid facilities to make sure student’s health is well taken care of. For a balanced growth, the campus provides for enclosed and open sports amenities. The admission process of Sri Siddhartha College of Education is as per the directions of Common Admission Cell, Government of Karnataka.
