SRS First Grade College, situated at Pillekeranahalli, Chitradurga District of Karnataka State, was started in the year 2007 and is an affiliated college. Located on a 12-acre compound, this institution provides three undergraduate programmes for a total of 473 students. The college is also privileged to have a good student population, male and female. Male students are 271 and females are 203 in number. SRS First Grade College has 16 devoted faculty instructors, which help students receive a quality and individualised education experience. The college offers full-time courses in commerce, computer applications, and business administration to meet the current requirements of the job market.

SRS First Grade College boasts a variety of facilities to improve the experience of the students. There is newly constructed and well maintained separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls students in the compound for outstation students. SRS First Grade College offers three full-time programmes: BCA., or Bachelor of Computer Applications; BBA., or Bachelor of Business Administration; and B.Com., or Bachelor of Commerce. The aim of these courses is to prepare the students to be professionals in their areas of specialisation so as to accomplish their professional activities. The authorised admittance for these plans is three hundred and for BCA as well as B.Com. programmes, it is one-twenty and for BBA programmes, it is sixty only. This diverse range of courses enables the students to make a choice on the specialisation for the area they wish to build a career in.
