The St. Charles College of Education, situated in Madurai commenced its journey in the year 2006 and the institute is one of the pioneers to differently develop the future of education. Currently at Thanakkankulam P.O, Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Madurai this women college is an affiliated college which accredits its teacher education programme from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Out of the total admission capacity of 100, St. Charles College of Education provides education in B.Ed program only for those students who want to become a teacher. This is a full course spread over two years which serves as a preparation for students starting a teaching practice.
