St. Thomas College of Nursing, Kottayam, is one of the well known nursing colleges started in the year 2002 and is situated at Chethipuzha, Kerala. This is a co-educational college which came into existence and affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences and has been approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The college is located in a 3.6 acre land and it provides dedicated grounds where students pursuing health care can study. The college has 206 students and 25 faculty members which facilitate low student to teachers ratio makes sure to assure individual student attention and quality education at St. Thomas College of Nursing. As of now, the institution has established only two nursing programmes for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

St. Thomas College of Nursing has many facilities that are set to help in improving the learning ability as well as the values of the learners. On this regard, in order to increase student comfort, the institution has provided transport facilities of a 50-seater bus and a 14-seater van.

St. Thomas College of Nursing has a specialised programme and has two full-time nursing courses. The four years undergraduate programme includes B.Sc Nursing which has 50 students intake. To the high level of specialisation, the college provides Master of Science in Medical Surgical Nursing and has 4 intake capacity for two years course. Both courses are intended to offer the biblical understanding of a nurse’s profession, as well as special training to become a professional nurse.
