St. Thomas College was established in 1950 with its branches in Palai town of Arunapuram, Kerala. This affiliated college, recognised by NAAC, is located in a 28.58 acre campus and includes facilities such as library, laboratory, play ground etc. The college enjoys a student patronage of 2806 and faculty of 110, the college comprises 45 courses and 9 degrees. St. Thomas College has a diverse composition of students whereby only 76% are undergraduate level and the rest at post level. Regarding gender distribution, there are 73% male students while 27% students are females. Located in Bundelkhand, one of UP’s famed districts, the college is well known from its academic brilliance, founded on a vast selection of specialisation in Arts, Science, and Commerce.

The college has variety of up to date facilities which complements learning process in today’s world. The library occupies four floors and has a vast number of published sources of both sequential type and journal, meeting the various academic requirements. St. Thomas College also facilities commodious laboratories, a computer centre and an open gym in the college. Hostel accommodation is available for students, which has been provided separately for boys and girls. St. Thomas College, Palai, provides all general courses for under graduate and postgraduate level. There are 45 full time courses offered which include 19 undergraduate and 15 post graduate courses. The courses are B.Com, B.Sc in Zoology, Physics, Botany, BA Politics, English Language and Literature, Malayalam, and so on.
